The final exhibition of PICTURESQUE TORBAY will be hosted by us here at Torre Abbey in our Learning Lab!
See a wide range of art submissions including drawings, paintings, photography, poetry and print making expressing our own interpretations of coastal locations in Torbay.
Picturesque Torbay has seen over 220 participants including all generations from across the Brixham, Paignton and Torquay welcoming all from total beginners to professional artists.
We have been inspired by JMW Turner and his painting of 'Torbay from Brixham' plus locations featured in coastal works from Torre Abbey's fine art collection. People have ventured out on location to Torbay's coastal geopark, painted & sketched outside (some for the first time) and visited local gems some never knew even existed!
Did you take part? See your own artwork on display!
Add your very own local coast artwork to the online gallery by adding #picturesquetorbay and be part of the legacy!
Come along to the exhibition and create your own original artwork to add to the exhibition!
All submissions and drop-ins are FREE!
