Our shop is open to everyone so you can just pop in to browse, the shop sells everything from locally produced gin to preserves, confectionery, guidebooks and cards. You’ll also find traditional toys, books and other souvenirs.
Don’t forget that 1196 Members also get 10% discount off most items in the shop – if you don’t have a membership yet, you can purchase one in the shop from one of our helpful team.
Our retail team try to provide a range of products whilst continuing to source more products locally and cut down on unnecessary waste.
Natural Soaps, Candles and Skincare are handmade in Clovelly by a small family business overlooking the sea.
Torre Abbey has been stocking Clovelly soap for over a year and is lucky to have them made with our own logo on the label and has proven to be a really popular addition to the shop.
The Coastal Distilling Co. Locally Sourced. When in season, our Lavender and Rosemary are sourced from Torre Abbey Gardens in the heart or Torquay. Our sea buckthorn is foraged from around the coast.
A classic gin with a coastal twist, distilled in small batches and then gently steeped in butterfly pea flowers to give the signature blue colour. With plenty of juniper, fresh orange and locally grown thyme and a hint of South Devon sea spaghetti.
